Today a few posts are going to go up that help me take care of business. I have never done a fundraising drive on this site, for the simple reason that this blog represents a hobby and pin money for me, at the moment, and is not my main source of income. Assholes: A Theory is a great book for ‘untrained’ minds (like mine) – it discusses some interesting, eternal philosophical questions without reverting to incomprehensible ivory tower egghead speak.

I’m a total sucker for sweet things, but carbs are a big no-no for me, especially as I get older. My cavewoman brain is convinced – convinced, I tell you! – that a famine is right around the corner and I better have several years of calories stored on my ass, just in case!
